Letters should be 500 words or less and include the name, home address (or community affiliation, if speaking for a group) and phone number of the writer(s). E-mail confirmations will be sent for all letters received via e-mail.

Milestones

The Scarsdale Inquirer publishes obituaries, as well as engagement, wedding and birth announcements — free of charge — for current and former residents of Scarsdale, Edgemont and Hartsdale, as well as people who work or previously worked in our communities. Copy will be edited to conform to the paper’s editorial style and available space. Photos should be sent as .jpg or .tif files, saved at 200 dpi or greater. Wedding, engagement and birth announcements should be e-mailed to Ilene Nechamkin. Obituaries and memorial service announcements should be e-mailed to Debra Banerjee. They will be posted on the website as soon as they are edited. To have an obituary published unedited, as a paid ad, contact Barbara Yeaker
