Sandwich shop Jersey Mike’s Subs will open its doors for the first time at 247 North Central Ave. in Hartsdale on Sept. 11.
The sandwich franchise originated in 1956 and now has 2,000 restaurants open and under development nationwide.
“Having grown up with Jersey Mike’s as a staple food, it is very exciting for us to be opening a Jersey Mike’s franchise in Hartsdale,” said franchise owner David Frank. “As local residents, we look forward to partnering with the community, serving high quality products, and providing excellent top-tier customer service.”
The new sandwich establishment has circulated more than 8,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sandwich when a customer makes a minimum $2 contribution to the Edgemont Junior/Senior High School PTSA and the Woodlands Middle and High School athletics programs.
The eatery is known for its various types of cold and hot sandwiches, as well as breakfast egg and cheese sandwiches with choices of bacon, sausage, ham or steak.
Customers who bring in a valid coupon will be able to redeem their free sub sandwich from the opening on Sept. 11 to Sept. 15.
