Elizabeth Grace Walker died unexpectedly on March 25. She was born Feb. 6, 1960 in New York City to Susan Bray Walker and John David Walker. Known affectionately as Liz to friends and family, she grew up in Scarsdale, attending special education classes and graduating from Westlake High School in 1981. She worked for many years in Arc of Westchester’s pre-vocational program. Her loved ones said Ms. Walker had “a uniquely positive outlook on life that was contagious and made all who interacted with her better for having known her. Her joy and zest for life, family and friends were her hallmark.”

She is survived by her parents, her two brothers, David Bray Walker and his wife Bobbie of Greenwich, Connecticut, and William Alexander Walker and his wife Amy Walsh of Brooklyn, and her five nieces and nephews, Anne, Catherine and Sarah Walker and Henry and John Walker. A service to celebrate her life was held March 30 at Bennett Funeral Home in Eastchester. Private burial services followed at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Arc of Westchester, 265 Saw Mill River Road, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
