Emanuel P. Caras

Emanuel P. Caras of Scarsdale died on May 31.

Mr. Caras was a well-known architect, a life member of the Scarsdale Volunteer Fire Department Company No. 1, a retired Naval Seabee, a longtime member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle, and a longtime member of The Order Of AHEPA Chapter 405 Fraternal Organization of the church.

Mr. Caras was married to Rose (nee Trosa), father to Christina Caras and Paul and Maggie Caras, brother of Ariadne Pilarinos (George) and Irene Metaxas (John), uncle to Angelina, Irene, Billy, Christiana and Yianni, and, according to his family, was a loving relative and friend to many. He will be missed dearly, his family said.

Visitation will take place at the Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main St., Eastchester, Friday, June 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place Saturday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 10 Mill Road, New Rochelle. Interment will immediately follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla.
