The Scarsdale Democratic Town Committee is holding its annual summer fundraiser Wednesday, July 31.

The funds raised will go directly to supporting local Democratic candidates and to generating voter interest in upcoming elections in Westchester County and elsewhere. You do not need to be a registered Democrat to attend or make a donation. The event will take place Wednesday, July 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of Assemblywoman Amy Paulin at 12 Burgess Road in Scarsdale.

As always, the fundraising event is expected to draw a tremendous number of distinguished elected officials, as well as a number of judicial candidates. Congressman Eliot Engel, State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Westchester County Executive George Latimer, Westchester County Clerk Tim Idoni and Chairman of the Westchester County Board of Legislators Ben Boykin have indicated they will attend.

Those who would like to attend are encouraged to RSVP at to learn more about the suggested contribution levels, including a special student rate.

The Scarsdale Democratic Town Committee hopes to see many of our friends and neighbors on July 31 to support our local candidates.
