Scarsdale Library Director Beth Bermel finally had the chance to cut the ribbon and officially open the new Scarsdale Library on Friday, May 7. After a decade of hard work and construction, and after postponing the grand opening because of the pandemic, the library was able to host a limited gathering for the ceremony. Speakers included Bermel, President of the Library Board Felicia Block, President of the Friends of the library Dara Gruenberg, and Scarsdale Mayor Jane Veron.
