Audrey Shaev (Scarsdale ’18) and Connecticut College women’s basketball went 4-17 overall and lost 40-31 to Williams in the opening round of the NESCAC Tournament. As a senior, Shaev played 21 games, starting six. She scored 72 points and had 17 rebounds, 17 assists and 12 steals.

At the Ivy League women’s swimming championships, Yale senior Bebe Thompson (Scarsdale ’16) took 15th in the 200 butterfly in 2:01.26, 18th in the 200 individual medley in 2:03.55 and 15th in the 400 individual medley in 4:22.55. Yale was 8-1 and third in the Ivy League.

Winning her third straight NCAA field hockey championship for Middlebury — to go with the lacrosse title she won last spring — junior Erin Nicholas (Scarsdale ’17) added another individual honor to her résumé. For the second year, Nicholas was named All-American.

Scarsdale and the Nicholas family were well represented in the NCAA Division III field hockey finals this fall. Junior Erin Nicholas (Scarsdale ’17) was a starting midfielder for champion Middlebury, while senior sister Michaela Nicholas (Scarsdale ’16) was a reserve for Franklin & Marshall.

Bridget Horwood (Scarsdale ’15) started 11 games for Colby women’s lacrosse in her final season since walking onto the team as a freshman. Horwood scored 12 goals and had 13 assists and 12 groundballs for 9-7 Colby.

Senior Michelle Li (Scarsdale ’15) finished a remarkable setting career for Wellesley women’s volleyball with 3,539 assists over 111 matches, 410 sets and four seasons. Her mark for setting is one of the best in school history. She also had 257 kills, 90 aces, 744 digs and 121 blocks.
