Sept. 11 9/11 2019 photo

The Scarsdale Police Department holds a ceremony this morning to honor the memories of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001. It was the darkest day in New York history, but it continues to bring stories of bravery, selflessness and courage. More than 2,900 died as a result of the attacks and more than 2,000 have died since due to 9/11 related illnesses, with that number expected to rise exponentially. Check back later for more.
